A black and white portrait photograph of Francis Michael Fallon.
Private Francis Michael Fallon was born at Whitby on March 19, 1926, son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis H. Fallon. He lived in Toronto and later worked for Whitby Malleable Iron and Brass Company. He enlisted in November 1943 at Kingston with the Ottawa Highlanders and was sent overseas in July 1944 where he was a member of the Lake Superior Regiment. He was killed in action on April 13, 1945 in Holland and is buried in the Holten Canadian War Cemetery, Netherlands.

According to the Canadian Virtual War Memorial site he is commemorated on page 513 of the Second World War Book of Remembrance.

This photograph also appears on the back of the thirteenth leaf of Alex Brown's album. There are four photos on this leaf. The top left photo is of Francis Fallon. The top right photo is of George Scott. The bottom left photo is of Robert Rae [sic] and bottom right photo is of Bill Kapuscinski.
