A black and white negative of Charles Leonard Jenkins.
Charles Leonard Jenkins was born in Prince Edward Island. In 1940 he joined General Motors of Canada at Oshawa as Administrator of the Customs and Drawback departments. From 1967-1969 he was Secretary of General Motors and 1969-77, he was Secretary-Treasurer. In 1977, he was transferred to Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A. to be General Motors Director of Research Policy and Planning of Government Relations. Mr. Jenkins was a member of the Whitby General Hospital Board of Governors starting in 1969 and was Treasurer and later Vice-President. He was Chairman of the Board in 1975-76. He was a member of the Whitby Planning Board from 1960-63 and Chairman in 1963.
