A black and white photograph of Brooklin Railroad Station. A train can be seen in the distance. A grain elevator can also be seen.
Notes:
Brooklin Railway Station was located at 93 Winchester Road East. It was located at the south west corner of Anderson Street and Winchester Road on a railway that stretched from Port Whitby to Port Perry and Lindsay. This view is looking south from Winchester Road with Anderson Street at left. The station was built in the 1890s and destroyed by fire in the 1930s. The railway was built in 1871 and the tracks were removed in 1941. The station was destroyed by fire on April 19, 1937. The grain elevator in this photograph was built in 1892 and was demolished in 1950.
