- Larry Cond was born at Trenton on 30 September 1916. He served during the Second World War for the Royal Canadian Navy on the HMCS Spikenard and HMCS Ottawa.
Following the war, Cond was employed by Canadian Industries Ltd. in Oakville and served three years on Trafalgar Township Council. In October 1960, Cond moved to Whitby to be the Town's Industrial Commissioner.
He resigned in 1965 and died at Whitby on 2 February 2005.
