Notes:
Dr. William J. Fischer returned to Waterloo in 1904 from his medical studies in London, Ontario and practiced medicine in Kitchener and Waterloo until his death from cancer in 1920. He was married to Caroline Kuntz, daughter of brewery owner Louis Kuntz. In 1918 he was appointed medical director for the Mutual Life Assurance Company.
1913 Vernon Directory lists Dr. Fischer at King and Cedar (currently Bridgeport) Streets; 1927 Directory lists Mrs. Caroline Fischer at 11 Willow Street.
