This is a book written by Jean Holmes, about the Elzevir and Grimsthorpe Townships. It was published in 1984 by Madoc Printing in Madoc Ontario, Canada.
In the preface of the book Jean Holmes explains that the book was made possible by a grant from the Federal Government of Canada which allowed for three students to be hired on a ten week contract to assist with the project. The students Laurie Price, Karen Price and Stacy Stickwood are credited for the “leg work” involved in gathering the research, making it possible for Jean Holmes to write this book.
