- Marrian Forrest Dickson (1825-1857) as a lovely young woman. She was the grandmother of Marion Dickson and the mother of Robert Dickson, who was part owner of Beattie's store in St. Marys.
Marrian was married to William Douglas Dickson and lived in Renfrew, Ontario. She died at the birth of her fourth child and is buried in Renfrew.
This cabinet card is a reprint - possibly from a daguerrotype - prepared by the Sallows studio in Goderich where the Dickson family lived in the latter part of the 19th century.
- Notes:
- Condition: back is a little faded; front is a little worn; appears the photo is a bit out of focus - possibly because it is a copy of a daguerrotype.
