Description:
This is a photograph of Queen Street looking West during a flood. Floods are common in St. Marys, and prior to the building of a flood wall in 1988, the water was more likely to spill onto the streets.

In this photo, water has flooded the streets up to the doors on businesses. There are people standing in the water on the street. On the right, you can see the sign for the F.W. Hutton store, which was located at 109 Queen Street East from 1904-1949.
