Book sale a success
The library staff and board
of the Petawawa Village and
Township Union Public
Library would like to thank
the people who supported the
giant book sale during Civic
Centre Days.
It was a great success, and
the money raised will be used
to purchase more books for
the library.
During the summer starting
July 14, the library will be
showing a film in conjunction
with the summer reading
program. It will be in the
mornings and is open to all
ages.
If you are planning your
holidays, check out the
camping, bed and breakfast,
and travel sections of the
library. There are also a good
selection of summer
cookbooks.
Each month a list is posted
in the library of all the new
books received for that
month, so be sure to check of
new titles.
The library is always
looking for new volunteers, if
you think you can help out in
the afternoon or evening this
fall please contact the library.
If you would like any more
information on library ac-
tivities please phone 687-
2227.
