- A black and white full length posed portrait of Elsie Perrin Williams standing to the side of a high white fireplace and mantle in a very ornately decorated room.
She is wearing a wide brimmed dark hat and an elegant dark velvet dress with a large decoration at the waist. A wide lace collar with a V shaped over collar is adorned with a cameo pin. The elbow length sleeves are also trimmed with gathered lace.

Elsie Perrin, the daughter of Daniel S. Perrin was presented with a 68 acre estate called "Windermere" as a wedding gift from her father in 1903. The estate consisted of a Victorian house and farm which Elsie and her husband, Dr. Hadley Williams replaced during WWI with a Spanish influenced stucco home with heavily beamed ceilings and Romanesque arches.
One wonders if this could be a portrait taken inside the original Victorian style Windermere. With that speculation in mind the geographic location given is for the current Elsie Perrin Williams Estate. After Mrs. William's death she left provision for her housekeeper to live on the Estate until her death after which, the Estate passed into the possession of the City of London and is now a public park and a popular venue for weddings and other celebrations.

- On reverse of Library Archives print in pencil; picture #77 (and) Elsie Perrin Williams. Also lightly stamped on reverse in a quarter sized circle: Perfect Pictures Cairncross London. On the front of the photocopy which is in the London Room Photograph Collection is hand written in blue ink: Mrs. Elsie Perrin Williams. Original in Office.
