- Description
- Glossy print of Dundas Street just west of Richmond Street, providing a good view of the buildings along the south side. There are several pedestrians and vehicles in the street. Of note is the large Smallman and Ingram Limited building in the centre of the block between Richmond Street and Market Lane. In the left foreground, on the southwest corner of Dundas and Richmond, is the United Cigar Store and next to this the Laura Secord Candy Shop and Liggett's Drugs. A Wells Academy sign, inviting people to register any time, hangs outside the second floor windows above. To the west, beyond Smallman and Ingram, is the Woolworth store, stretching to Market Lane. Across Market Lane, on the corner, is the Ontario Loan and Debenture Company and beyond that, signs can be seen for London Wines, Seigel's and Cowan Hardware.
