- A black and white copy of an original portrait of John Michie, Jr. as a child.
- Notes:
- Son of John Michie, Sr. and Caroline Michie, nee Elliot, sister of Judge William Elliot. John, Jr. was born in 1850 in London, Canada West. The geographic location was determined from the 1868 London City Directory listing for his widowed mother, Caroline Michie at east North Street (now Queen's Avenue) and Colborne Street. John Michie, Sr. died on September 26, 1861 and John, Jr. would also die at a relatively young age on June 12, 1886.
