A glossy print of Thomas H. Carling's residence at 677 Talbot Street.
Notes:
T. H. Carling is first listed at 677 Talbot Street in the 1893 City Directory and the last listing for him at this address is in 1922. This same photograph appears in the 1897 edition of "City of London, Ontario, Canada. The pioneer period and the London today" by Archibald Bremner. This photograph was, therefore, probably taken between 1893 and 1897.

T. H. (Thomas Harry) Carling, the son of Sir John Carling, was president of the Carling Brewery and Malting Company, Limited for many years. His death registration gives his date of birth as August 4, 1850 and date of death as December 19, 1935.

This residence at 677 Talbot Street was replaced by the Monastery of the Precious Blood ca. 1924. The monastery was later demolished.
