O-Pee-Chee Company Limited, a leading Canadian confectionary manufacturer, was formed in 1911 by the McDermid brothers, John "J.K." McKinnon and Duncan Hugh. It first featured Gipsy Gum and later expanded its product line to include mints and several kinds of popcorn, such as the popular Krackly Nut. Still in operation today, O-Pee-Chee continues to appeal to its young market with items such as Bazooka, SweeTARTS, Nerds and Collector Cards. - Dimensions
