A photograph of the Carty family at the Narrows Lock circa 1916. Jean Mooney Carty is pictured on the left with the wife (Agnes,) and children of the superintendent of the Rideau Canal, Arthur Phillips. The superintendent and his family would always visit with Jean and William Carty on the first trip of the year.
The girls could be Liliane (born 1901)and Peggy or Helen Phillips.
