Description:
Document requesting a meeting of the Roman Catholic freeholders and householders of Head Township, and notes of said meeting January 30, 1953 held at Our Lady of the Snows Parish at 8 p.m.
Notes:
The letter requesting the meeting was discovered tucked inside the St. Lawrence Church, Deux Rieviere Account book dated 1926 to 1940. The meeting notes were written at the back of the same book. The records for the Deux Rivieres mission were likely relocated to the Parish church in Mackey, then Stonecliffe when Our Lady of the Snows Parish opened December 11, 1949 and replaced the Church in Mackey.
