Old Durham Road Cemetery Dedication

The dedication ceremony to mark the burial ground for early black settlers in the Priceville area.
Photo shows, from left to right, Yvonne Wilson, (unknown person, partially obscured), Carmelle Meads, Rev. Sheffield, (unknown choir girl, probably from Collingwood)), Les McKinnon (partially obscured), Bill Murdoch, M.P.P. for Grey County, Murray Betts, Reeve of Artemesia, Stan Baker, and Lincoln Alexander, Lieut. Governor of Ontario.
The plaque reads:
Durham Road Cemetery Dedicated October 13, 1990 by Lincoln M. Alexander, Lieut. Governor of Ontario in recognition of the pioneers of African descent and Loyalist stock who were early settlers in this area.
