Description
This item is a letter sent from McCausland & Widner, a Paris grocer, to George Foster and Sons dated February 19, 1904. McCausland & Widner notes that their order for fresh water herring was mixed up with salt water herring in their recent order, and would like fresh herring to be shipped to them as originally requested. They also request a box of cut "S and B", granulated sugar, and two boxes of haddock.

Messrs Geo Foster + Sons

Brantford

Dear sirs,

We ordered 2 [boxes]

of [fresh water herring]

and you sent us salt

water.

Kindly send us the

fresh water herring [to]

box of cut S+B, and

send us some gra.

sugar, and call up Ryerson

[Bias] and get us 2 boxes

of [haddock].
