Description
This item is a letter sent from Matthews and Rehder, a general merchandiser based in Paris, to George Foster and Sons dated January 21, 1904. Within the letter Matthews and Rehder had expected to have known about an arrangement sooner, and regrets that they could not come to Brantford sooner. Rehder also writes that they will continue to make payments until January 30th, plus $50 to be paid on the following Monday. With these efforts, they intend to accomplish the accounting issues at hand.

Messrs Geo Foster + Sons

Brantford

Dear Sirs,

Expected to have been

able to have head are

arrangement earlier this

week but care tell you sale

have been rough be this

week [so far] people can't

get out but if you will

draw for 250.00 in five

[accts] of 57 each [front] are

due on 30th [illegible] and one

each Saturday following

[against] the offer account

this in addition to the $50.00

we pay each Monday will

soon [sort] out the balance
