Description
This item is a letter sent from Thomas McCosh, a Paris merchant, to George Foster and Sons dated December 18, 1903. After enclosing one small order for G.G. Pepper with his letter, Mr. McCosh writes that payment has been made in advance on his account and that the goods will be needed before Christmas. He further states his intention of going to Ayr, and writes the order on the back of the letter. This order includes various candies and sugar to be ordered from Mr. Patterson + Sons.

Brantford

Gentlemen,

Herewith enclosed

please find order for G.G. Pepper

he paid me amt of his a/c

U. Strack will require some

[goods] before Christmas but was

[concerned] and had not time with

up what was wanted. He promised

some to look up and make you the

order I quoted him not [gentle] matches 10 1/2

SS almonds 10 1/2 Prague 13 + [illegible] 8c

any time also me hay order under do as

well as you can. I will go to Ayr

today and come to Brantford

tomorrow.
