Letter to William Clarke from Elizabeth Clarke

This item is a letter sent to William Clarke, a teenage English boy who had been living in Paris, Ontario for two years, from his younger sister Elizabeth Clarke, who is living in Sheffield, England. Her letter mentions that she has settled back at the Cherrytree Orphanage after a 1 week holiday, and adds that there are now 40 kids at Orphanage following new arrivals. She is currently working on the kitchen baking 15 loaves a day among other cooking. She also mentions that she has grown and is now the ‘biggest’ girl in the Orphanage. Two pages, one double sided.
