Description
September 23, 1998 article from the Burford Times describes how youth in the Brant County 4-H club learn how to avoid hazards on the farm. The article includes of photo of 12 children sitting on and around a tractor (Tina Allardyce, Steven Black, Jeremy Carr, Wesley Emmott, Daniel Featherson, James Featherson, Adam Franklin, Alicia Geier, Scott Hoo, Sonia Kotiuk, Chris Thompson, Naomi Yasui, and Emma Yasui). The club was lead by Wendy Coluc, Dianne Geier, and Chris Scrivener.
Youth learned about safely working with animals, chemicals, fire, and machinery on Chris Scrivener's farm.
The article also thanks the Farm Safety Association, the War Amps Association, Ross and Betty Courtnage, and Scholten's Farm Equipment in Burford for their support.
