To Mrs. James Deagle
We on behalf of the members and friends of the congregation of St. Paul's Church Middleport Ont
Take much pleasure in calling upon you in view of your intended departure from this neighborhood to express our goodwill and wishes towards you, your personal and social qualities, your intercourse with the Congregation and Choir, your long intimacy with the people in these parts have endeared you to us more than words can express.
You have always evinced
a lively interest in our choir, your punctuality and regularity, musical knowledge and willingness to assist have helped our services much.
Knowing this, we feel pleased to call upon you and ask you to accept this
as a slight evidence of the good will and high regard in which you are deservedly and universally held and also to take with you the assurance that when time shall be no more, you will not be forgotten in this neighborhood or parish.
May you and yours be spared many years and may the sunshine of Divine presence ever rest with you is the wish of your Christian friends.
Signed on behalf of the Congregation and friends of St. Paul's Church Middleport October 26th A.D. 1915
