- Daniel J. Sr. Mannen was born on January 13th 1841 in the township of Beverly, and passed away on May 27th, 1908. He was married to Rachel A. Mannen. Rachel was born on January 31st, 1845, and passed away on November 21st, 1915. They had a son, John B. Mannen, an unnamed son, and a daughter, Hannah. Daniel and Rachel are buried at Papple Cemetery.
