HAMILTON PLACE

PARIS

CANADA

Jun 15, 13.

[N. Lavorie] Esq. Chairman and the Members of the

Public Library Board

Dear Sirs and Madam,

At about the end of the year I was

notified by the Manager of the Bank of Montreal

that there was an overdraft on our account. The

Mayor and Town Treasurer refused to pay into the

Bank the amount due as owing to the alleged

infrugality on my part, which I however deny.

The only way out of the difficulty seemed to be

for me to make a personal loan, which I

did to the amount of one hundred dollars.

As the grant has since been paid in to the

Board I ask you to return me the amount

advanced without undue delay.

I am yours very truly

Paul Wickson
