Description:
Barbara Herbert passed away on September 01, 1850 at the age of 16 months and 24 days. Her sister, Phebe Herbert, passed away on August 27 at the age of 16 months and 17 days. They were the children of John and Charlotte Herbert and are buried at the Oakland Pioneer Cemetery. It is likely that Barbara and Phebe were twins given the matching age and year that they passed away. Thus part of the inscription appears to be incorrect as the number of days does not add up.
