John Jay is buried at the Oakland Pioneer Cemetery. His age and date of death are unknown due to the fact that the bottom of the headstone is missing however Interment.net lists his death date as June 13, 1821. John was the son of Samuel W. Jay & Lavinia Jay and brother of W. Tyler Jay, James M. Jay, and Fanny Tyler Jay.
