TORONTO, October 30th, 1916

George E. Muirhead, Esq.

Office of Master of Titles, Osgoode Hall

TORONTO Dear Mr.Muirhead

I don't agree with you that we have given

the bondholders nothing in return for their money. We have certainly put a lot of work on this matter. I have definitely found quite a few extracts from the corp. minute book that I

made before it was lost, which may be somewhat of a surprise to these directors who until they are safe now that the minute book is gone.

I have opposed a motion made by Watson & Company to dismiss the action for want of prosecution successfully as to that and have simply been pat on terms to give notice of trial within three weeks.

I have been unable to arrange with Mr*Britton Osier to produce his client, Dinnick, for examination pursuant to the old subpoena* He has not done it. They says Dinnick does not reply to his letters. I am therefore issuing' a new subpoena and appointment for our friend Mr. Dinnick and will have him personally served.

Yours truly
