Description
This certificate was issued in 1919 to John Ashworth Havens to confirm his discharge from the Canadian Army due to an injury sustained on June 4th, 1918 during World War I. He had enlisted on April 1, 1916 and was a member of the 98th Battalion. He served in England and France.

John was born November 13, 1874 and died September 7, 1946. He is buried at Farrington Burial Grounds, Brantford.
