A black and white photo of Arthur Boyes and his wife Minnie (Westgate).
After their marriage in 1895 they lived in a house on Taunton Road, then moved to a farm on Westney Road called Westgate Farm (not to be confused with Westglen Farm). In 1926 they passed the farm onto their son, Harry Westgate Boyes and retired to Pickering where Arthur sold cars and operated one of the first gas stations in the area.
