Description
Black and white negative of a photograph of the switching tower on the Canadian Northern Railway. The tower is in the background at left. A person stands by the tracks at right in the foreground. The shadow of the photographer is visible at bottom left corner.
Notes
This switching tower, south-east of Brooklin, was built in 1910 when the Canadian Northern Railway crossed the Port Whitby and Port Perry Railway. It was demolished around the 1930s.
