      Mississauga Heritage titles this house as, "Allie House, Frame Addition, Lisgar, Meadowvale". The house was built in 1868 in Trafalgar Township and is shown in the 1877 Historical Atlas as sitting on the west half of Lot 14, Concession 10. It is a two storey red brick L-shaped plan house.

      The house was built about 1859 by James W. McCraney & wife Augusta [nee Leach.] It was their home until 1911. Photo dated 1905. In 2008, this house still stands as 425 Fourth Line, Oakville. James and Augusta McCraney are seated in the lower right corner of the photograph.
