Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee 1952-1977. 1977 marks the Silver Jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen of Canada - the 25th Anniversary of Her Majesty's accession to the throne. Queen Elizabeth II succeeded her father, King George VI, on February 6, 1952 and was crowned at Westminster Abbey, London on June 2, 1953. The Government of Ontario is pleased to present this badge in recognition of this significant historic occasion.
