- A tin of Old Dutch flavourized potato chips. The Old Dutch company was originaly based in Roseville, Minnesota, and commenced operations in 1934. In Canada, Old Dutch opened a plant in Canada in April 1954, in Winnipeg. This tin was produced in the 1930's. On the reverse, text reads: OLD DUTCH fine potato chips are one of those foods of outstanding quality with a new tenderness and special flavour that makes them EVERYBODY'S FLAVOR FAVORITE Prepared from white potatoes, pure vegetable oils, salt and with not more than 1/100 of 1% butylated hydroxanisole added as a preservative.
