Dear Miss Buckley
I hardly know what to say in acknowledgement of the box just recieved through you from the Cheapside Auxilliary. 
 It is  indeed very kind of them to remember one in this way and I assure you that I am truly grateful.
Well, those were good days spend in Cheapside - I wonder how the barn stood the test - and how is your father - I know he must
have missed me when I left. Well one thing I remember though he would ??come to church on Sunday - I don't think he ever missed a 
funeral service.  Well I guess he could beat me on any argument now as I hve got very rusty in mind.
