The Clerk was instructed to reply zo thd Inspector of Municipalities thanking hdm for his letters of April 24th enclosing copy of his 1917 report,and of the 30th expressing his confidence in obtaining an order-in-Council approving sales of property lying East of D.L.557. Ferries Insurance , J.K.Waller, West VanfXand Co, Whitaker 3c Whitaker, 3. Applications for business of writing the insurance on the three Ferry boats expiring on May 17th were received from J.H.Waller,West Vancouver Land Co. and Whitaker & Whitaker. Moved by Councillor Yates.seconded by Councillor Thompson, That providing similar rates are offered,the insurance on the Municipal boats * be carried on the same as 1918 with regard to amount of insurance carried,same to be divided up among the three applicants,Mr J.H. Moved by Councillor Thompson,seconded by Councillor Yates, That the Clerk write to the Secretary of the Great War Veterans* Association thanking him for the list of names received and returning same with a request that the Association mark the names of those who should appear on the, Municipal Honor Roll.
