2 - THE PARRY SOUND BEACON * STAR, Sunday, October 26,1997 Seguin Township recognizes volunteer firefighters for years of service to community SEGUIN TWP. « Members of the Seguin volunteer fire service were recognized at the beginning of the October 4 Seguin Township council meeting, for their years of service to the community. Reeve George Stivrins and fire chief Peter Barbour presented the volunteers with plaques, certificates, and long-time service medals according to their years of service. As well as those pictured on the front page, other volunteers recognized for their years of service included the following: Randall Farrows, Art Fraser, Richard Poole, Terry Linham, Paul Bissonette, Lloyd Bissonette, Scott Bissonette, George Shoebottom, Steve Bruch, Timothy Fraser, Rodney Walker, Hugh Forbes, Duncan Bissonette, Richard Nawroth, Brian Bell, Wilhelm Bretz, Robert Bradley, Marianne Bradley, David VanDuzen, Kirk Alves, Kelvin Watkinson, Gerald Bailey, Robert Kennah, Terry Fraser, William Burns, Raymond Jeffries, Paul S.Jean Marie, Darcy Gilbert, Owen Lalone, Jamie Jackson, W. Andrew Allender, Nathan Farrows, Edward Slater, Sean VanDuzen, and James Murray. On September 20 an Appreciation Night was held for the many volunteers who have assisted the Township of Humphrey over the years. The following Humphrey Firefighters and their spouses received special recognition for 33 years: Errol and June Stoneman, Carl and Ruth Smith, and Harry and Doris Stoneman; Ken and Dianne Fraser for 31 years, Art and Anna Fraser for 25 years, and Jerry and Judy Holland for 20 years.
