In the late 70’s a Jacklin family reunion was organized by Lee Jacklin and Jessie (Jacklin) Deyett (twins) at the Orange Lodge Horseshoe Community Center.  (off the old Hwy 69 near Horseshoe Lake (Alves Garage at the junction of Crane Lake Rd & Jacklin Cres. It still sits there but is unused. 
At the reunion a family tree was presented and updated.  Since then many updates have been noted especially for the Parry Sound – Horseshoe Lake Jacklins.
