DEATH OF MRS J.H. FORD On Saturday, September 15th, a very esteemable lady, in the person of Mrs. J. H. Ford passed away at her home at GRIMSBY East, after being in poor health for several years, at the age of sixty-seven. The deceased lady was well known in this locality as she had resided with her husband, Mr. J. H. Ford, at GRIMSBY Beach for a great many years during the summer months, as Mr. Ford was manager of GRIMSBY Park Company for several years. Be- ing of an amicable disposition she had endeared herself to a large circle of friends, not only at GRIMSBY East, GRIMSBY and vicinity, but also in Toronto, where she had resided a great part of her life. For several years Mr. and Mrs. Ford, accompanied by their neice, Miss Bertha Adams, had traveled ex- tensively in the south and west dur- ing the winter months and lived at GRIMSBY Park during the summer months, but owing to Mrs. Ford's ill health these trips were discontinued during the past few years and the family has resided in the winter time at GRIMSBY. The funeral took place on Tuesday afternoon, service being conducted at the house and graveside by the Rev. Dr. Thomas, of GRIMSBY East. The deceased lady is survived by her husband, one son Arthur, now at GRIMSBY Park, and three nieces Miss Adams, Mrs. Perry, of Toronto and Mrs. Long, of the Thirty. The pallbearers were: Beverly Book, C. M. Ruttan, Jas. Marlowe, Wm. Coon, J. H. Forman, and H. A. Baldwin.
