Thessalon Lumber Company was established in Nestorville in 1907. The Dyment Lumber Mill buildings were purchased by Frank Nestor and moved from Thessalon to Nestorville.
With the mill came the establishment of the settlement of Nestorville. Notes from the Nestorville Women's Institute Tweedsmuir state that "The Town...came into being almost overnight and offered stores, livery stables, a pool hall, a barber shop, a boarding house, a blacksmiths, warehouses and private residences."
