This picture appears to be Horseshow Park taken around 1920's. My grandfather, Cecil Carroll Fox who resided at 110 Chapel Street in Cobourg, spoke of a time when people would take their horse and carriages for some kind of parade at Horseshow Park in Cobourg. It was located somewhere on the west side. The parade was still going on up untill the 50's at least with the hores since carriages were displaced with the automobile. I remember him speaking of it till then as a yearly event.
