In 1932 J.A.Argo, General Secretary,2nd C.H.B. Old Boys' Association wrote "The 2nd Canadian Heavy Battery in the World War,1914 to 1919" in Montreal, Quebec. It was unpublished, loose leafed, written I believe, for the 2nd C.H.B. Reunion in Cobourg, 1932. Therefore the photograph was probably taken at that reunion in 1932. It was probably the one and only reunion on such a scale. The gentleman in the front row, second from right looks very much like my father-in-law judging from other photographs that we have of him in our family history files. He was from the Monreal Section of the 2nd Heavy Battery. Harry Gabbutt MC was B.S.M. (later Lieutenant) of the 2nd C.H.B. and was living in Peterborough in 1932. It was very excting, especially for my wife, to see this photograph and I will copy it and put it in our colllection. Many thanks.
