Inscriptions:
Maple Lake Hotel, Swords. Percy Swords' first car - 1913 Ford. Stage oach ran from Port Cockburn to maple Lake Hotel. Houses - Roy and Ely ( Roy was the white faced one). Aurthur Redfern with a load of grain U.T.O. United Farmenrs of Ontario. Couple standing on verandah beseid care are likely Tom and Eliza (Lyne) Cornish Sword. Parents of Helen Sword (Mrs. Tom Graves) who later lived in the back part of the hotel, The front section (3 stories) was torn down. Part of the old hotel was used by Jack Sword to buil a house nearby, and his brother Doug Sword to build a cottage on Maple Lake. Picture - June and John Klose. c 1917 Raiway Stop-overs C.
