Go to Special Collections and ask David for the copy of The Mini Atlas of Early Settlers in the District of Niagara. There is a Tremaine Map of 1862 as well as the 1875 Pages'Atlas Map showing the 2nd Welland Canal. On both of those maps, there is a black square on each lot (sometimes more than one) which indicates the house/houses on each Lot. William Parnall who died in 1832 owned the Railroad Property as well as the Brickyard on the Queenston Road to Hartzell Road, as early as 1812 until ca.1860, when his wife Elizabeth died. I have a document for Lots 12 & 13, Concession 7 for Land required from Elizabeth Parnall for the construction of Hydraulic Aquaduct upon the Welland Canal, dated April 10, 1855.
