I believe Samuel Woods' home was built prior to 1804.
On behalf of Bob Weaver:
According to a 1955 St Catharines Standard article, the answer to your question re Peter Weaver's house is 1829.(House building incorrectly attributed to son Walter, who only five years old at the time.) This assumes it's the same house on Martindale Rd, one demolished in 1955. I would like to point out that, although the map date is ca. 1868, according to land records, the property shown as Peter Weaver's was actually sold to Samuel Seymour Weaver (my gr gr grandfather) in 1860. I believe Peter was appointed first locktender for one of the locks on one of the canals (I'm a bit vague on Welland Canal history), and his son Walter carried on that job for some time.
